Oxenrig Free Range Eggs started in 1988 in response to a high demand for eggs produced in a traditional and natural manner. The birds have unrestricted movement within their field and shed, with food and water on continuous supply.

All of Oxenrig's Hens have been specifically bred for free range egg production. This provides us with a bigger, calmer and hardier hen, allowing better contol of production and quality of product. At Oxenrig the emphasis is on Quality rather than Quantity.

We concentrate on producing top quality eggs and providing a professional and personal service to our customers. We deliver to outlets across the Scottish Borders, Northumberland, Edinburgh and the Lothians. With the growing interest in purchasing local fresh food we feel that it is very important to maintain our identity.

In July 2002 we made the decision to invest in a new grading shed & grader. At the same time we became "Lion Quality" assured guaranteeing our customers further safety & quality.

Oxenrig is an arable farm situated a few miles from Coldstream, on the edge of the Scottish Border, an area renowned for its agriculture and good land.
